LOVIS Holdings as a British company with Mexican capital

Excerpt from Negocios ProMéxico Magazine, interview with Rafael Funes by Omar Magaña – February 24, 2015

LOVIS Holdings is the name of a British company with Mexican capital that has transformed consulting services and the implementation of technology solutions for business. LOVIS is much more than technology for business. Its strength lies in the comprehensive consulting services offered to companies, based on the systemic integration of three main services: technology implementation, integration of methodologies to improve operations and business processes, and implementation of strategies for bringing about change.

As developer and owner of DynaWare Online –the first enterprise operating system (EOS) in the world, a technological application for companies developed in Mexico, which exceeds the functions of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems– LOVIS believes it has everything it needs to attract new customers in a number of different countries, and the United Kingdom, where it has operated since January 2014, has proved the perfect platform to enter the markets of both the European Union and the Commonwealth nations.

“The ease with which we are able to make sales has increased significantly, because customers view us with the seriousness of the United Kingdom, and at the same level as Germany or the USA, countries we compete with in terms of country brand, with the business software we’ve built,” says Rafael Funes, Executive Chairman of the company.

Funes is known in Mexico as a visionary and innovative businessman. In fact, LOVIS is the result of an evolution within DynaWare, the technology company he founded three decades ago.

LOVIS is much more than technology for business. Its strength lies in the comprehensive consulting services offered to companies, based on the systemic integration of three main services: technology implementation, integration of methodologies to improve operations and business processes, and implementation of strategies for bringing about change. The goal? Doubling the productivity of companies, improving the quality of life of employees, and increasing dividends in six months or less.

According to Rafael Funes the story of LOVIS can be summarized in a few specific events: the company started out developing software for manufacturing companies. A few years later it created adaptable universal software which satisfies different variables of the multiple processes required by companies, in most of their variations. It then went on to develop a business solutions strategy that allows each customer to identify the solutions it requires according to its business and operation model. In 2003, it began offering cloud services with the EOS DynaWare Online, and its services now also integrate positive and cognitive-behavioural psychology programs for bringing about change.
